Mika would Love These :)

Gue menemukan blog ini dari hasil browsing-browsing. Nama pemiliknya Bob Kolar, ilustrator, penulis buku anak-anak. Gambarnya lucu-lucu. Apalagi gambar berbagai macam kendaraan kaya' cement mixer, ambulance, bus, mobil polisi, atau dump truck. Duh.. Mika pasti seneng banget kalo punya buku ini. Gue aja suka.. hehehe..

Gue pernah kirim comment di salah satu postingannya, nanyain gimana caranya ngedapetin bukunya. Tapi, gak ada jawaban. Lagian, si pemilik blog ini juga jarang banget posting.

Today, I am ...

Car Free Day

@31.01.2010: kita jalan-jalan ke Bunderan HI. Ceritanya mau ber-Car Free Day.

Jam 6, berangkat dari rumah. Jemput Mira, Fayyaz & Nasyawan dulu. Hebohnya udah kaya' mau piknik ke mana, deh.

Parkir mobil di Sarinah Thamrin. Ternyata udah rame. Mulailah kita berjalan menuju Bunderan HI. Mika dengan sepeda barunya, gue dorong dari belakang. Mika lumayan enjoy perjalanan bersepedanya. Cuaca mendung, jadinya enak jalan-jalannya.

Sampai di Bunderan HI, kita duduk-duduk di depan air mancur. Rame banget. Paling seru waktu air mancurnya menyala tinggi. Sampe ikut keciprat-ciprat. Nyaris semua yang ada di sana, sibuk berfoto-foto - termasuk kita sih... hehehe..

Jam 9, kita bergerak balik ke Sarinah. Wah, udah panas. Perjalanan balik jadi lebih berat. Abis tuh, makan bubur Apjay di Kebayoran.

Sampe rumah, koq teler? Ngantuk berat... hehehe.. udah kaya' abis olahraga heboh :)

Semalem liat acara Grammy Awards. Pas banget ngeliat performance "Green Day & the cast of American Idiot" - nyayiin lagu '21 Guns'. Keren banget! Gue jadi inget masa-masa SMA ketika gue suka sama lagu-lagunya Green Day, kaya' When I Come Around' atau 'Basket Case'. Ya.. setelah itu, gue gak ngikutin lagi lagu-lagu mereka. Selera musik gue kembali 'bergeser'. Hehehe...

Buku Baru

Hari Sabtu, gue 'nemenin' Mika main di Lollipop, Senayang City. Hehehe.. ini sebenernya alasan aja, biar mamanya bisa jalan-jalan. Sambil nunggu Mika, gue baca-baca The Girl who Played with Fire. Wuih... masih panjang 'perjalanannya'. Karena bosen, gue jalan-jalan deh ke Gunung Agung. Biasa dong.. tentunya mencari-cari buku baru.

Sebenernya gue agak kurang suka ke Gunung Agung ini. Koleksi bukunya gak banyak. Bahkan buku barunya pun sedikit. Penyusunan buku-bukunya juga kurang enak dan menarik. Tapi, biar begitu, gue 'berhasil' memilih dua buku yang akhirnya gue beli. Gue pilih Ghostgirl (Tonya Hurley) sama Magic or Madness (Justine Larbakestier). Tadinya pengen beli Libri di Luca. Tapi, karena lagi agak cape' baca The Girl who Played with Fire, gue memilih yang rada tipis dan gak terlalu berat (baik isi maupun ukurannya).
